Jim Summers and Tony Veltri from West Virginia Bassmasters helping
chidren from the Romney School for the Deaf And Blind
Learn to cast. This was a first ever Jakes Day sponsored by the WV Wild
Turkey Federation held at a school for handicapped children. I have
been told by my friend. Dave Truban. Coordinator for the event that this
will be an annual event.


 

Dion Bright of West Virginia Bassmasters had the honor of being Smokey
Bear at lunch time and was a big hit with the kids.

Members of the Short Cast Bassmasters a youth affiliate of the West
Virginia B.A.S.S. Federation Nation recently made a
Trip down I79 to Fairmont to assist in building a playground for special
kids. The playground is the first in the area
To be completely hadicapped accessible. Photo of Short Cast Bassmaster
